Privacy

Here is exactly what leaves your Mac.

Your memory lives on your Mac in an encrypted database, with the key in the macOS Keychain.

Stays on your Mac

Everything you’d call your history

Messages, meetings, people, commitments and their evidence, plus the search index. No sync, no backup to us, no second copy anywhere.

Leaves, and only this

Named, not implied

The text one question needs, text sent to be indexed, meeting audio only while notes run. Never stored by us, and never used to train a model.

What we collect

Counts, never content

How many requests your account made and how large they were, for billing and limits. Never what was in them. We cannot read your memory, and neither can anyone here.

Never used for training: data sent to the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI’s models, every request to our speech provider is opted out of its model training, and we don’t train on your data either. It never sends a message as you, anywhere, ever.

The full terms are in the Privacy Policy, and what is sent to a model, and when, is in the Disclosure.
